Andy Lumsden

I have over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, in both Structural Design and Architecture. During this time I have been involved in a wide variety of projects, from individual homes to major international clients working on multi-million-pound flagship developments.

My passion, however, has always been working with invested individuals on bespoke projects. I have advised homeowners looking to improve their existing homes, making them better spaces to live and grow. This can be something as small as the addition of a window to bring light into a previously dark space or complete refurbishments involving major reconfiguration of the home. I have advised house builders on how to create stunning individual homes that work now, and in the future. All with a keen eye on the environment, sustainability, and budget.

Our Ethos

Architecture is a collection of interconnected practices rather than a single entity. Landscapes are inextricably linked to structures, ecology is inextricably linked to building specifications, and the ultimate goal of any project is to improve the life of its occupants. Although aesthetic movements come and go, we believe these principles are timeless.

Whether you want to create a new life in a brand new home or want to improve the way you live in your existing place, we can provide advice on how best to meet your needs.

We strive for openness and transparency. My first job is to understand your vision, and needs. I prefer direct communication and face-to-face meetings, allowing me to gain insight into the client's expectations.

We are cost conscious and will work closely with clients and suppliers to ensure realistic budgets are created and met. I can also generate dream schemes for those who want to see what is truly possible.
